Finalmente llegamos a white sands http://www.americansouthwest.net/new_mexico/white_sands/national_monument.html, uno de los monumentos nacionales muy conocido gracias a sus dunas de arenas blancas que sin importar el calor (estábamos como a 103 grados F) nunca están calientes! Debido a los elementos que la integran (el yeso entre ellos) esta maravilla tiene una extensión de 275 millas cuadradas (son las dunas de yeso mas grandes del mundo) y además de sus encantos naturales se ha convertido en set de varios videos y películas que en su mayoría han sido de ciencia ficción por ejemplo: 2008 Year One , 2007 Transformers, 2006 The Astronaut Farmer,2005 Jarhead,2004 Birthdays,
