COLORADO SPRINGS
our Western dinner

But well, I need to continue telling you about our previous months here. This time, I am going to share some of my pictures from Colorado Springs, where I had the opportunity to go because Fulbright had organized a meeting with the participant teachers and mentors by the end of September and beginnings of October Since Fulbright asked for our mentor’s participation, I had the opportunity to know Janice Hart, Director of the English Department, better. We actually became good friends after that. besides the meetings with mentors and or administrators, they had also planned some cultural visits. Our first visit was to an exhibit of Frida Kalho’s pictures at a nearby gallery… Rita and her mentor were also with us.
After that, they took us to a restaurant type Old West with many stores in cabins and was organized like a small town. After seeing the stores and walking around the place, we entered the main cabin where they gave us dinner in old West style , with metal plates and cups and we enjoy a show of typical music.
